Runi + Thomas

rt47.jpg

I woke up the morning of their wedding to find this message in my inbox:

“Gia– I woke up this morning feeling full of excitement and purpose– it’s hard to keep from shaking with anticipation! I feel like I’ve waited my whole life to marry Thomas!”

It’s official, I have the best job in the world! These two are amazing. I don’t want to say much more because Runi’s beautiful email pretty much says it all. Congratulations to the both of you.

Runi

What’s a girl to do when she just can’t find that perfect dress to walk down the aisle in? Design her own, of course! With the help of the ever talented Linda Asaf and her wonderful group of ladies, they helped Runi make the dress of her dreams. Here is a little peek behind the scenes at Runi’s first look and fitting of her wedding gown. I would advise all you brides to be that if you want a unique, one-of-a-kind dress to book an appointment with Linda. Her incredible work speaks for itself.

Katy + Tom

kt37.jpg

Katy and Tom came to Austin all the way from Virginia to celebrate their special day. I’ve been noticing that a lot of northerners like to come down to the south to tie the knot. Either that or they’re born and bred Texans like me and after living with the crazy heat down here they eventually fly away to where it actually snows for Christmas! Regardless, I’m glad they decided to make Austin a special place in their lives because this is one awesome city. I had such a wonderful time getting to know them this past year. Katy is really into event planning so she had no problems single-handedly putting together all the beautiful details from a distance.  Tom is an incredibly funny guy who’s  a trumpeter for the National Symphony Orchestra. Together they make a lovely couple that kept the evening going smoothly and with full of laughs. Thank you for giving me the chance to get to know you — the year flew by so quickly! Congratulations Katy and Tom!

(p.s. the groom’s cake you see down there is an authentic 12lb New York Cheesecake. Tom scoffed at the “cheesecake” we have in Texas and had to ship down this mammoth of a cake to show us what a REAL cheesecake is suppose to be like.)
